Coconut oil is a medium chain triglyceride (MTC) and is about 90% saturated fat. But won't that make me put on weight you ask? The short answer is no, coconut oil is a very special substance that is finally getting the credibility it deserves in the press, it is not a magic bullet but if you replace many of your cooking oils with coconut oil there is a good chance you will lose weight.
Carb cycling is one of the best ways to lose the pounds, I have personally used it dozens of times to get into really low body fat figures and has worked wonders with many of my clients over the years, if you implement one strategy today, this should be it, it will really take your weight loss to the next level and help you lose the pounds. So this is exactly what to do to lose weight: Eat more carbohydrates around times of physical activity and eat less around times of low physical exertion, easy right? Start with three meals of carbs on days where you are exercising and limit to 2 when you are not exercising.
Want to know exactly what to do to lose weight? Start exercising first thing in the morning on an empty stomach! Really is it that easy, can I really lose the pounds doing this simple tip? Yes you can, researchers have found that exercising on an empty stomach can help you burn fat by up to 300% more than exercising in a fed state. Although this weight loss tip has come under some controversy for its effectiveness, I have personally been doing it this way for many years. If nothing else it's a great way to start that day and get your metabolism roaring for the rest of the day.
To accompany your early morning cardio, have a strong cup of black coffee as soon as you wake up. Some research suggests that this will allow you to oxidize more fat as an energy source. Hey I will do anything for a little extra to help me lose the pounds, plus it's a great way to wake you up and get you ready for your 30 minute walk. Now if you are a heavy coffee drinker this may not be as effective and I suggest cutting back on your caffeine intake for this weight loss tip to work.
